An “origin story” - if you will
I discovered the power of copywriting while working at a friendly, neighborhood Trader Joes. My manager tasked me with writing headlines for the mystery beer bags. A customer grabbed one of my mystery bags, put it in her cart and said -
Those mystery bags flew off the shelf. My manager even started regularly scheduling me time off register to write those cheeky headlines.
Since then, it's been a winding road of writing Amazon SEO copy, blog articles, DTC web copy, brand identity work, spearheading campaign concepts, & more in-store shopper marketing (beyond my brilliant work at Trader Joes). I can easily cater to every brand voice out there, from iconic "no-nonsense" brands like Caterpillar to "all-the-nonsense" brands like Old Spice.
When I'm not writing for work, I'm journaling through song-writing, dabbling in floral design, and catering to the whims of my self-important chihuahua.
